The New Job Erin stirred fitfully. Sensation and consciousness came back slowly. There was a stink in the air and an awful taste in her mouth. Her limbs felt sore and achy, and just...just...wrong. Her chest was tender, and... and... like someone had cut her open and stuffed a football in there. Her head felt like it was filled with cotton candy.... and bricks. She wanted to throw up, but it felt like she already had. And was floating in it. It must have been a hell of a party. ...... What party? Erin couldn't remember a party. Maybe she was sick? She should call work. No wait she was unemployed, Again. She was looking for a job, Again. Why did that ring alarm bells? Erin tried to feel for the alarm clock... or her phone ... or a puppy. Cause why not a puppy. She was sick and puppies made her feel better. I The sensations were strange. .. And sensation was strange. ... Something was ticking in the
They say a picture is worth a thousand words. My reply. Wet paint.
Go ahead paint one five hundredth of a picture and express those two words. I dare you.
The problem is, what picture and which words are you talking about? If we are talking about a painting by one of the great masters, you or I would have difficulty doing it justice with mere words, even a thousand. But if I give you several pages of Shakespeare could you paint a picture equal to them? I think not. So at best it should go- A picture may be worth a thousand words depending on the author and painter in question. Not quite as forceful or snappy as the original. But
